2018 Infiniti QX80 Coming to Dubai Motor Show

Infiniti’s lead in design, luxury, and technology continues with the next generation QX80 being unveiled at the Dubai International Motor Show in November. The look is very reminiscent of the Monograph design study featured at the NY Auto Show in the spring of 2017.

Alfonso Albaisa, Senior Vice President, Global Design says, “Infiniti’s design DNA has been scaled up for our largest SUV. The QX80 brings a new commanding presence with powerful muscularity and enhanced horizontal movement. Our designers raised the visual height of our iconic double arch grille and signature headlamps striking an unmistakable road presence.”

That translates to an incredibly beautiful looking vehicle that we’re sure will be equipped with next generation technologies, refinement, power, and luxury.

The 5.6-liter V-8 will carry over, but expect some refinements as well as the possibility of a turbo-V6 engine.

The body-on-frame SUV is capable of towing 8,500 pounds with a self-leveling rear suspension to help with that load. In addition to the multilink independent rear suspension, there is an optional body motion control system which we found in our recent drive to help significantly.
