Australia’s Premier Wings and Slicks Racing Series: Giti Australian Formula Open

Giti Tire has been formally recognized by the Australian Formula Open (AFO) as its Official Race Tire partner for the 2024 season. This season of the AFO series, which started in February and will run through November 2024, has Giti committed to providing complete technical support for every event. 

There are seven rounds in the 2024 AFO season, including notable competitions at Sydney Motorsport Park and Winton Raceway. The June Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia round at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park was one of the season’s highlights. The series’ grand finale will take place in November at the 2024 Island Magic.

AFO, which is renowned for its multi-class format, is still one of the few championships on the single-seater racing scene in the wake of the S5000 series’ indefinite suspension earlier this year. There are four classes in the competition: AFO1, AFO2, AFO3, and AFO4. Formula 3 cars that follow rules from 2002 to 2012 are seen in AFO1. Formula BMW, Formula Renault, Formula Ford, and Toyota Racing Series vehicles are all part of AFO2. AFO4 is made up of all Formula 4 vehicles, whereas AFO3 is for invited entries.
