2021 Lexus IS Unveiling Set for June 9

This morning, Lexus dropped that the Lexus IS is returning for another generation! The fun, nimble, and well-priced compact luxury sports sedan will make its debut on June 9.

Based on the rear end picture provided with the release, we’re expecting a lot of Lexus UX influence in the design. The unified taillight wing illumination is one of our favorite design features of the Lexus UX.

In order to remain competitive, we’re expecting powertrain updates, AWD to remain, and more technology inside. Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 is expected to debut and align the IS with the rest of the Lexus portfolio.
