Three Key Issues That Cause Traffic Collisions

Whether you realize it or not, there are different risks that can affect your safety on the road. After all, traffic collisions happen, as you know. But, to become more knowledge on this topic, let’s take a look at three key issues that can cause collisions.

However, the larger percentage of incidents (69%) often involves just a single vehicle. But sadly, 16% of serious injuries in collisions are caused by a drinking driver.

2. Drugs

Secondly, drugs are an issue too – as you may know. Unfortunately, there’s a traffic offence involving drugs every three hours in Canada. And almost 3,000 occurrences in 2015 as a whole – so it’s important now more than ever to be vigilant about drugs use and drivers. It’s also crucial to recognize that smoking cannabis doubles the chance of an accident!
