2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Has Arrived

Mitsubishi has received the first shipment of 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross CUVs at Port Hueneme on the West Coast of the United States. The crossovers in the first shipment will be delivered to Mitsubishi Motors dealerships nationwide. The Eclipse Cross goes on sale in early March with a starting price of $23,295.

The new Eclipse Cross puts the compact CUV segment on notice with a vibrant and defiant design that also boasts an available panoramic sunroof, a direct-injection turbo engine and Mitsubishi’s available proprietary Super All-Wheel Control system. With a value driven price, the Eclipse Cross brings advanced technology to a whole new class of drivers.

The Eclipse Cross features a 1.5-liter direct -injection turbo-engine, dual-pane, power-sliding panoramic roof, 7-inch display with touchpad controller, Head-Up Display (HUD), heated rear seats and the global launch of MITSUBISHI CONNECT.

“2018 represents an exciting next chapter for Mitsubishi Motors, and the all-new Eclipse Cross is a large part of that story,” said Don Swearingen, executive vice president and chief operating officer, MMNA. “The Eclipse Cross builds on the strong Mitsubishi heritage of automotive performance, technology and fun-to-drive dynamics revived in a CUV. We’re excited to add the Eclipse Cross to our established CUV lineup and know it will continue to fuel the brands current sales momentum.”

This initial delivery represents Mitsubishi’s second all-new vehicle to arrive to the United States for the 2018 model-year. The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV arrived in dealerships in December and is currently on sale across the country.
